What is an RSS feed?

RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication" or "Rich Site Summary."  An RSS icon  on a website indicates the availability of an RSS feed, which summarize new information on a web page.

How do I access an RSS feed?

RSS feeds are accessed through an RSS reader, which are included in the latest version of most web browsers. With an RSS reader, you can view information from multiple websites in a single interface. When you "subscribe" to an RSS feed, your news reader will check that web site on a regular basis and show you any new content.
